The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 除了特效很差外，故事性还不错，比一般的院线电影要强。
没有拍出来原著平静之下的痛苦，没有那种致郁又治愈的感觉，没办法时长不够拍那么多细节。不过更纱被家暴后满脸血走在街上想着文被抓时他俩紧握的双手，虐死我了。
挺聪明的一个剧本，罗生门式拼图叙事，角色故事版本基于人设立场，利用戏中戏讲故事的形式应付了审查，引入开放式结局给观众留白，达到了惊悚鬼故事的效果且着力放在探讨人性善恶这种大众常见的方面，即便成本较低，呈现还算完整，不错，网大确实有所进步

不得不说老崔的剧本真是网大中的一股清流啊，这几年的作品还是让人比较满意的。一群人雨夜被困山神庙轮流讲故事群戏很精彩，刻画了很多愚民丑恶的嘴脸，结局还是老崔一贯的套路，其实这部戏倒不用这么安排，也许是不想太过阴暗，也能理解。
故事头尾可以自洽，甚至字幕完了还有个小有意思的彩蛋，还是不错的。然，从头到尾，对于取了个这种名字的电影，狐仙只是个幌子 ，不好意思，只能两星
网大开始有点意思，院线却越来越没意思
没看懂究竟想要表达什么，就感觉什么都没交代清楚，浅尝辄止的感觉，故事突然就结束了？

真不错的网络电影，能自圆其说的把故事讲完。人心难测，好恩无好报。
