During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 昨天喝醉了，迷蒙中我写下了这么一句话——“我还能有艺术的感知力吗？我不想丢失，我想痛哭，我想为它而死去”，看完这部电影之后我想我大概不会丢失。艺术是黯淡的星光，艺术是爆裂的花火，艺术也许是唯一的一条捷径，让你离真实的自己越来越近。
我能看《第七封印》《都灵之马》《四次》《另一个故乡》这种闷片都能看得津津有味，歌舞片对我来说是一个坎，上次愉悦地看完一个歌舞片还是《爱乐之城》，这片的主角本身就长在我的审美盲点上（不知道怎回事，看到这种五官尤其是咧嘴的时候，脑海里总是浮现出傻子的观感），加上每次一起音乐——不能说好坏，只能说实在是太不对路了，于是，分数再高，也无法坚持看下去，不想折磨自己。
压力来自于自己和别人比较
还行。非常强的theater kid风。就看你接不接受这个风格了。但良心话，这片的CG做得太丑了…
這部戲激不起我内心絲毫漣漪。。。可能是題材hit不到我吧。
加菲演的John像一只癫狂又脆弱的小鹿，有着诗人般的浪漫和无尽的哀伤与喜悦。过去的种种时光，纵然潦倒憔悴，纵然惴惴不安，但它们仍能为人生漫漫长夜留下最璀璨的划痕。尽管生命注定消逝，尽管倒数的滴答声一直响彻脑海，还是要抓紧一切时间去生活去体会去感受。
歌和剧情不是特别搭 有出戏 90年代和LGBT又是点到为止 甚至没有特别好听的歌 一般！
好像都完成了，但不好看。开头像歌舞片的大通货，中后段的故事又极为省略。倒数计时声串联起的多个时刻间的互文很流畅，加菲的几个唱段唱的不差。但加菲戏路还是太窄了，脆弱焦急都是可信的，但是舞蹈和音乐都不够潇洒，歌舞题材里加菲真的没有优势，太软糯了，演得好，可是不发光。主题和历史深度是高于【马戏之王】，但是从歌舞题材的歌舞表现，特别是男主表演精彩度、歌曲质量都远远弱于【马戏之王】。
碎片剪辑叙事有些不连贯，但就如听音乐一般。梦想和现实、情感的碰擦在女友肩上的手指节奏上达到顶峰
三十岁，人生进入了倒数时刻；死亡的钟声即将响起，滴答，滴答……无法被时代和商业接受的创造力，要放弃吗？可以。要坚持吗？也行。过去的已然过去，生活仍要继续。无论身处何地，继续创作也好，为他人工作也好，从任何事物中写出一首歌来，直到生命的最后一秒。

针的滴答声贯穿全片，营造出一种无法挥散的焦虑和紧迫感，是年龄焦虑，是创作焦虑，人终有一死，我们应当用有限的时间做什么？
今年看过的新片里面还算好看的，但是比起其他同类型的片子感觉还差了那么一点激情澎湃的元素，可能是因为我真的不喜欢Andrew Garfiled的长相吧，尤其是嘴巴......
天才人生中永远只有过路人，从情感角度的解读倒是有几分《后翼弃兵》的后劲了。

生活都被写进剧里，生活本身也自然被掏空。

同为LMM的作品，比起《In the Heights》，我更喜欢这部（好多重合的演员），不仅剧情跟紧凑，歌曲也更好，加菲的表演很加分。ITH中只有一首印象深刻的歌，这部则太多了，最喜欢的还是Therapy，特别是歌词，笑死我了：I'm saying I feel bad, that you feel bad；About me feeling bad, about you feeling bad；About what I said, about what you said；About me not being able to share a feeling。
这不比《安妮特》好看好听，也更写实走心。鲍勃·福斯拍《伦尼的故事》，林曼努尔拍“乔纳森·拉森的故事”，一种惺惺相惜和自况，还有本片从叙述到剪辑借鉴前者颇多。
