A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

费兰特对洋娃娃的意象很是执着了 女性为育儿被禁锢所丢失的自我与自由 然后再对自己想逃离去追随欲望的自私而自责 这样的痛苦对等吗
近两年因为疫情电影产业甚是疲软，好多片子过目即忘，偶有佳作也是矮子里面拔将军，但这部确实很好——不落窠臼的时间线剪辑，手持镜头营造的不安氛围，典型意象的前后呼应，节奏张弛有度，配乐赏心悦耳，完成度如此之高居然还是一部"处女作"——可以说是天赋型导演了；回忆中的谎言与残酷，现实中的逃离与失语，在热闹人群里格格不入，在光阴流逝里赧于认错，于是周遭的一切，都陷于战战兢兢的试探和不信任，最终只有仓惶怯然的退场，拖着一颗身心俱伤的疲惫灵魂。（话说能以高浓度文学性去描摹如此细腻的女性心理果然还得是埃莱娜·费兰特……）/ PS. 奥利维娅的表演简直是化骨绵掌！

Pub里的林强和罗大佑，皇后大道东，少年非道天涯路，关于台南黑帮的命题，作为编剧的侯孝贤和陈国富随后延伸出各自的《再见南国》和《只要为你活一天》，电影很文艺，都不像徐小明拍的。
“雨很大，像天在哭，雨一直下，像我的悲哀，好朋友要走了，留下我一个人。”两位主角，谭志刚在拍摄完后不久便在车祸中丧生，而颜正国，后来也因为各种罪名入狱，少年吔，安啦！罗大佑和林强太帅。
可能因为不在那个context下所以很难被打动，少年无脑冲动或许才是应然，出身中产反而习惯算计
不是友情岁月，不是乱世巨星，台湾黑帮片是块警示牌，是船过水无痕，是雨那么大，像悲伤，是林强伍佰罗大佑的台语摇滚，是捷哥。
没有责任感的父母总是有诸多借口，电影里的至少还懂得反思，而评论里的却各种振振有词。
两星半。开场状态既是悬念，解决之道在其成因，私人历史和现今所见对比构成所谓心理戏剧性来推进叙事，其中几乎复刻自己的女儿，爱不释手的洋娃娃，梦寐以求的成功事业，心心念念的职责解放，统统都没有逃出属己之物，女性当然可以不做母亲，但也别忘了孩子也天然且永远就并非属己之物，自爱也理所应当地绝不可能成为真正的爱，故事拍出了这种平权时代和亘古情感间撕裂的痛苦张力，科尔曼传神表演的刺点，确实是比新手导演语言上紧巴巴的知面更重要，加一个赞许的一星。
白色的少年，像白色的鸟，无枝可依。少年的骨头是不需要拾起的，本是散落在地的星星，毋需回望，毋需拯救。
一个视野并不宏大的故事，却用恍若剥洋葱的方法，点点碰触温和外表之下的“呛辣”- -悠闲的假期背后，她的思悟与回忆不断地浮现与交织；情绪抨击与事件的召唤阵阵袭来，不停地拍打着在数个时空拉扯的自己、经历母性命题的女子们。优秀的文本与合适的表演相互辉映，尽管并非每个角色都得到了最好的使用（而更像为处女作“壮声势”的有意为之）；但比之于其它新人作的小心翼翼与新鲜，似乎从《荣耀之女》、从《堕落街传奇》、从那些访问分享，都能完全感受到Maggie会做得更多的未来（另个人是Laura Dern）；那它无疑就是最耀眼、最值得期待的开始。#ALLHAILtheQueenMaggieGyllenhaal

奧莉薇婭·科曼和潔希·巴克利就是適合演這種個性卓絕的角色，再加上全身本就帶著怪異特質的梅姬·葛倫霍來導演，如此風格迴異的電影就順勢而生了。
我在看完整部电影之后才恍然大悟，为什么在电影名称中要用「lost」来作为女儿的修饰定语，因为那是一直深扎在莱达心中的一根刺，很小，似乎轻易不被发现，可一直都在。看多了荧幕上母性角色的付出，这类关于育养孩子的影片便显得更珍贵，尤其影片的主人公不是传统意义上称职的母亲。值得一提的是，奥利维娅的演技也可圈可点，为影片增色不少。
这是一场对自己的复仇。不是把女人放入人性关怀中去讲，而是把人性放入女性处境中去讲。简洁，完整，严丝合缝，愤怒而节制，好电影。
叒一部恐婚恐育教育片，不同时空的母亲，相似的艰辛，全程焦虑不安，纯心理情绪推动，细腻而震撼。编导摄影主演全女性班底，非常优秀！
台灣電影史的原聲帶top5。台灣第一部stereo。
这个片子没有爆真的很不科学，费兰特比较迂回的一面都在这儿了。推荐和小妈妈对看，同一个题目的两重路径。
