The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 未写就的剧本，是对兄长的告别，亦是对电影的告白。
太完美了，各方面无可挑剔，从未有过的奇幻之旅，一场骑士精神的探索，在技术上尽显视听层面的诡谲与震撼，在文本上还原古典文艺作品的诗意和隽永，和当年的新版《麦克白》一样，导演在电影的世界呈现一首气势磅礴的叙事长诗，以出色的技巧和无可挑剔的风格打造出足以名留青史的艺术品。

仿佛做了俩小时的法，满是晦涩难懂的隐喻，尾声让人豁然开朗一些。对骑士精神的试炼，“Now little knight, off with your head” 妙啊。ps：A24气质到位，艺术感太强了，摄影配乐真绝，Dev还是很稳。放映前羊崽的预告真吸引人。
8.7 写给至亲的悼词，死亡的意义被描绘地举重又若轻，人们或是嬉笑或是肃穆的望向死者不断改变的象征之物，二者实际没有任何区别。第三幕笔锋一转，以对未尽之作毫不完善的演绎总结这一波三折的"魂归故里"，在粗糙的背景板下略过了人生的跨度，乡愁中更增添了许多遗憾。
画面好看，为了看巨人一幕，睡了两次加倍速看完了

降神格的高文的骑士精神寻回之旅，然后这是圣诞劝诫电影
有点不如预期，故事新编感觉像是A24在恐怖片之外的支线任务，但蘑菇致幻、异教徒仪式依旧不断提醒观众A24出品。灯光和音效以及人声BGM非常出色，旋转镜头和故事轮盘转出时间的倒错。最曼妙的莫过于两次于危难中看尽不同抉择后的人生，勇气在胆小、懦弱、玩垮、背弃中被锤炼，在一生的悔过中铸造骑士精神。
什么狗屁玩意！神神叨叨故作深沉。一个不学无术的纨绔子弟，平时玩玩小姐，结果临阵逞强，把自己逼上一段莫名其妙的冒险之旅。最后通过一段浮生掠影的意淫然后幡然悔悟重获新生？就这样获得骑士认证了？！你他妈 🤮（另外，明明讲的是英国民间故事结果主演没有一个是英格兰人种 🤢 ）
