The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 跟刚看过的另一部音乐剧情片《内特的梦想剧场》相比，同样都是音乐片，《内特》有点幼稚，而本片更讨我喜欢一点。凯文真的不错，可靠的朋友+忠诚的男友；艾米莉虽然不漂亮，但还是有闪光点的，不错的姑娘；亨特就不好说了，眼里只有重金属，确实是个怪胎！不过好在最后三人齐心，演出成功还因为断腿上了头条！我给3星6.8分！

因为题材给了四星，很多笑点还是get到的。但DB的剧本和人物塑造真不太行，整体观感是又尬又搞笑。看完默默给《重金属囧途》改成了五星。

细节处理比较到位，以小人物姿态发展大事件，影片想要讲的内容很多，有枪战、政治、人生价值，表达的方式竟不让人有违和感。但是司法局长女儿的圣母形象和受不了歧视宁愿变白的妇女的突然醒悟，却又让人觉得过于突兀和不合情理
电影层面来说四分高了，但我是重金属狂热爱好者。话说其实音乐金属成分不多。
人物看起来都有点小毛病的，放置在平常的故事中倒算是唯一看点
