很真实，很真诚。
最保守地方的习俗和方言，很好的容纳进了非常现实的故事里，不避讳人种肤色肥瘦的切实偏见，结果却居然能有高于现实的浪漫。
很平实又挺可爱的，后半段剧情垮了，结尾的处理方式又给掰回来一些。方言和音乐（主要是方言歌曲）加分。
影片的节奏不算拖拉，很快地就进入了叙述当中，妈妈这个角色是很有烟火气息的，具有很强烈的代表性，十分贴近生活，可以让观众感到很亲切，进而从母亲的角度去理解她的行为和观念。
