The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实整个还是很 girl power的故事，没那么惊悚。但是最后的情感转变和大团圆结局也太硬了，完全是编剧摆烂了。

复古，很美，恐怖悬疑做的不错，鬼影撞撞的都市，独自一个人身处陌生城市的孤独恐怖
招摇的霓虹街道上，空洞地效仿铅黄虐杀，歇斯底里地复刻灵魂狂欢节。Anya是最佳的障眼法，Diana Rigg也很稳，而Thomasin后段的表演脱节，呈现的“失常”状态甚至很俗气，加上那个糟糕的妆容
Edgar Wright在《热血警探》后最完整的一次表达，《斯托克》+《黑天鹅》，前半部的纸醉金迷表现得真是太迷人了。
1. 太让人烦躁了女主角，太烦了 2. 结尾那些该死的男性鬼魂还帮女主一把是怎么回事？究竟什么逻辑？ 所以从头到尾他们都是冤魂的设定？？可我以为他们在剥削女性？ 3. 这就是当代伦敦设计学院的设计水平？？？
前后端撕裂严重，出色的表现主义影像和OST也改变不了剧情的单薄

Edgar Wright的美学真好，幻影男人是最近看过的恐怖片最佳视效了，白日梦魇感太强。女性主义版恐怖“午夜伦敦”，传统的幽怨夺魂女鬼变成绝望男鬼，事实证明所谓女人和小孩才有“阴气”并不正确，男性身体一样可以让人觉得冰冷，并且因为力量感而愈加压迫袭人。2021年两部热门平权诉求恐怖片，剧本都有点问题，但喜欢这部远超《糖果人》。
